Hag - Bug Party

I recorded, produced and mixed the entirety of this release. “Bug Party” is a warm, offbeat indie-folk track about trying to hold onto someone while slowly realising things can’t return to how they were. Built around emotionally raw guitars, soft, intimate vocals and heartfelt imagery, the song explores emotional miscommunication, over-explaining, and the exhausting instinct to advocate for someone even when you’re hurting too. Beneath its strange, playful surface lies a tension among affection, frustration, longing, and acceptance.
