Guitar

Guitar with Range and Character

As a session guitarist, I bring adaptability across both acoustic and electric styles. From intricate fingerpicking to heavier, driving riffs, my playing is shaped by tone, feel, and an awareness of space within the arrangement. Each part is written to serve the song, adding energy and colour without overcrowding the mix.

What I Offer
  • Versatility – Fingerstyle acoustic, rhythm guitar, lead hooks, and textural layers

  • Dynamic Playing – Subtle support when needed, bold presence when the track calls for it

  • Collaborative Approach – Quick to learn and responsive to feedback, always aligning with the artist’s vision

  • Attention to Tone – Sounds crafted to enhance both live and recorded contexts.

My Sound and Influences

My guitar work is informed by artists like Adrianne Lenker, Crumb, Khruangbin, Nirvana, The Pixies, Courtney Barnett and Sam Evian — drawing on their balance of texture, dynamics, and character to bring depth and identity to every project.

Decaf & Well Roared Lion

Red Hill - Produced by Demetry Malahoff

Both tracks come from the same EP, which we recorded live together in one room. While Decaf leans into my rock and grunge influences with a ripping guitar solo, Well Roared Lion shows a different side with intricate acoustic fingerpicking. The rest of the EP explores a wide range of tones and guitar styles, capturing the dynamic energy of the live sessions.

Vashti

Hag - Mixed by Dan Sugars

On Vashti, I used an acoustic guitar layered with chorus, reverb, and delay to create a spacey, dreamy texture. The parts add depth and movement while keeping an intimate, organic feel, and this balance of warmth and ambience shapes the song’s immersive character.
